THE FAR EASTERN University Tamaraws registered their second win in a row via another thriller as they escaped the La Salle Green Archers, 48-46, in the 75th UAAP basketball tournament yesterday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The Tamaraws buckled down when it mattered the most as their defense held the Archers to just two points in the last five minutes of the match to overhaul a 41-44 deficit. FEU now totes a 2-0 (win-loss) record while La Salle fell to 2-1.
FEU’s Terrence Romeo was the lone double-digit scorer in the game with 10 points. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
