MANILA, Philippines – President Benigno Aquino III on Monday turned down calls for him to forget the sins of his predecessor so that the country can move forward.
In his third State of the Nation Address at the Batasan, Aquino warned that the Philippines would suffer if he would not punish the people who plundered the country to enrich themselves.
