Aquino tells legislators: Pass Sin Tax bill
MANILA, Philippines — President Benigno Aquino III on Monday called for the passing of the Sin Tax bill to help improve health care services in the country.
In his state of the nation address, Aquino said that the high rate in maternal mortality is still worrisome, however, he said that the government is working on improving health care and services for women.
He added that the Universal Health Care seeks to provide facilities and healthcare service providers for health institutions.
