Classes suspended in some Metro schools due to bad weather

MANILA, Philippines—Several schools in Metro Manila and nearby provinces are suspended Monday due to bad weather, according to Radyo Inquirer 990AM.

These are:

  • Valenzuela— public and private preschool, elementary and high school
  • Malabon— public and private preschool, elementary and high school
  • Candaba, Pampanga—public and private preschool, elementary and high school
  • Angeles City, Pampanga— public and private preschool, elementary and high school
  • San Pablo City, Laguna—all levels
  • Malolos, Bulacan— public and private preschool, elementary and high school
  • Hagonoy, Bulacan— public and private preschool, elementary and high school
  • University of Santo Tomas—all levels (graduate and postgraduate)

Aside from these schools, 29 other public elementary and high schools near the Batasan Complex in Quezon City are suspended Monday to minimize traffic congestion when President Benigno Aquino delivers his third State of the Nation Address.
