MANILA, Philippines—Traffic along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) Magallanes interchange was almost at a standstill Saturday due to flood waters brought by tropical depression “Ferdie”.

According to Metro Manila Development Authority’s (MMDA) traffic navigation system, traffic at Edsa northbound beginning at Malibay street near Magallanes was heavy up to Macapagal Avenue.

The MMDA announced via twitter that the Nichols and SKYWAY Off-ramp of the SLEX going to Buendia were still closed, causing heavy moving traffic going to Osmeña highway in Manila.

Meanwhile, Edsa southbound traffic beginning at P. Tuazon Avenue up to Timog Avenue was still heavy.
