EMPLOYEES and volunteers of the Mandaue City government may receive cash incentives under a proposed ordinance filed by Councilor Beethoven Andaya .

Under the proposal, regular City Hall employees will receive P8,000 as cash incentives, P5,000 for Clean and Green employees. Barangay health and nutrition workers will receive P3,000.

Andaya said there is no restriction from the Commission on Audit (COA) for the city to grant incentives since the city has not yet exceeded a 45 percent spending limit for personnel services.
