Man robbed, shot at home

A 40-YEAR-OLD man was shot and wounded by two men who robbed him in his house in barangay San Roque, Talisay City, southern Cebu.

Vicente Briones sustained a gunshot wound in the right leg.

The attack happened at dawn yesterday.

Police said the victim was awakened by someone who knocked on the door.

Briones opened the door to check when two men at the doorstep pointed a gun at him and declared a holdup.

Briones handed P400 cash to the two men, who shot the houseowner before leaving on a motorcycle.
