Cop molests woman applying for a job

The newly inaugurated P5.6-billion water improvement project in Angat Dam, Bulacan province was funded by China, for which President Benigno Aquino III expressed his  thanks.

This is not the only project in the country covered by a loan from China. There are several others.

Extending big loans to the Philippines means China trusts our government. Needless to say, trust is based on friendship.

Let’s not destroy our friendship with China over pieces of real estate in the middle of a vast ocean.

I’m not saying we should give up our claims to Scarborough Shoal and the Spratlys.

We can stake our claims to the two islands by not being belligerent.

We have become the laughingstock because of our warlike stance towards a powerful neighbor. It’s like an ant confronting an elephant.

Friends settle their differences over lunch or dinner and even over rounds of beer.

In the case of the Philippines and China, their differences could be settled at the diplomatic table.

After all, we’re Asians who were both oppressed by Western colonialists.

I know a Chinoy (Chinese-Filipino) billionaire who has friends in high places in the Chinese government and has several businesses in that country.  He has volunteered to act as a go-between.

I gave his name to Executive Secretary Jojo Ochoa, but have not received a reply to date.

That’s how close-minded people in the Aquino administration are regarding the China issue.

Aquino and his boys act as though the country has the might and resources to fight a military giant like China.

The plunder charges against former President Gloria in connection with the alleged misuse of P366 million in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) should have been filed against her husband, Mike Arroyo.

He allegedly raided the public coffers during the Arroyo administration, especially at the PCSO where he reportedly had complete control of the agency.

Mike Arroyo was not a government official, so he cannot be charged with graft or plunder.
But he should be man enough to own up to the accusation that he had used government funds.

Yet  he continues to hide behind the protective mantle of his wife.

Senior Police Officer 2 Ricardo Pascua of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) is now sorry that he had blocked  the presidential convoy along Commonwealth Avenue on Tuesday.

He is asking for President Aquino’s forgiveness, fearing he might be dismissed from the service.

He should not be forgiven because he exhibited a stubborn— some say even an arrogant attitude—when he was apprehended.

Pascua has many pending administrative and criminal cases, if we are to believe sources in the QCPD.

A police inspector of a Pasig City police station should be kicked out of the service pronto.

A 22-year-old woman who applied for a secretarial job in his office was allegedly told to undress   by the police official.

After she was forced to do so, he allegedly touched her breasts.

The policeman then attempted to rape her, but she was able to prevent him from having his way by telling him that she was having her menstrual period.

The woman then sought help from my public service program “Isumbong Mo Kay Tulfo” Wednesday.
