CEBU CITY, Philippines — Unidentified armed men on a motorcycle and aboard a van robbed the Mlhuiller managers from Mindanao of a bag full of jewelry at the foot of the Marcelo Fernan Bridge in Cebu about 1 p.m. Wednesday.

The Mlhuillier managers were on board a Toyota Innova coming from the Mactan Cebu International Airport in Lapu-Lapu City, when two men on board a motorcycle smashed the Innova’s window using a hammer, forcing the victims’ car to stop.

Suddenly, more armed men disembarked from another van and stormed the Innova. They pointed their guns at the Mlhuillier managers as one of them took a knapsack containing pieces of jewelry.

The robbers then returned to their respective vehicles and sped off.

After receiving the robbery alarm, the police immediately put up roadblocks. The police later recovered the blue motorcycle in Barangay Mabolo.
