MARA Galarion, a three-year-old girl from Ubay, Bohol is in need of medical assistance for her chemotherapy and surgery.
She has Retinoblastoma, a rapidly developing cancer that attacks the cells of the eye retina.
The disease first affected her left eye, before it spread to her right eye that caused her complete blindness.
Even though she can’t see, this jolly little girl still loves to play.
After her chemotherapy sessions, she will have to undergo a surgery to remove both her eyeballs to get rid of cancer cells.
Mara’s family, however, is financially hard-up.
Her father used to work as factory worker, but stopped to take care of Mara. Her mother just recently got a job as a salesgirl in a bakeshop.
Mara is asking kindhearted individuals to help her by donating for her chemo and surgery.
