Benguet’s Bakun town suspends classes until Friday
BAGUIO CITY — The municipality of Bakun in Benguet suspended face-to-face classes in all elementary and secondary schools from Thursday afternoon until Friday amid heavy rainfall.
Mayor Fausto T. Labinio cancelled classes to ensure the students’ safety as rains intensified in the municipality.

Alternative learning activities will continue, with teachers instructed to provide modules, home-based activitie,s and other learning tasks.
Parents and guardians were urged to help their children complete the assigned activities at home.
The municipal government also advised residents to remain vigilant, avoid unnecessary travel, and monitor official announcements for further updates. /coa
