LIST: Ferry trips cancelled Wednesday afternoon due to rough seas

MANILA, Philippines — Several ferry trips remained cancelled on Wednesday afternoon due to rough sea conditions brought by the continued effects of the southwest monsoon or habagat and Tropical Depression Neneng, the Philippine Port Authority (PPA) announced.

In a 12 noon advisory, the PPA listed the following ports with cancelled trips:

Batangas Port Management Office (PMO)

• Abra de Ilog: Island Water

Mindoro PMO

• Port of Lubang: all trips canceled 
• Port of San Jose: MV Saint Augustine de Ubon, San Jose to Semirara
• Port of Puerto Galera: MV Pterippus I, (2:30 p.m), Puerto Galera to Batangas
• Port of Puerto Galera: MV Pterippus II, (3:45 p.m), Puerto Galera to Batangas

Bicol PMO

• TMO Camarines: Starhorse Shipping Lines, Inc., San Andres, Quezon via San Pascual, Masbate to Pasacao Port and vice versa

Marquez PMO

• Port of San Andres: Starhorse Shipping Lines – San Andres to San Pascual, Masbate – Port of Pasacao, Camarines Sur

Masbate PMO

• CAVS Sea Transport – Masbate City – Pio Duran, Albay
• MB Maribel – Claveria, Masbate – Pio Duran, Albay

Palawan PMO

•  TMO Culion: All trips of vessel with 15 gross tonnage and below

Bohol PMO

• TMO Getafe: Sunriser II, Getafe to Cordova, Cebu

Agusan PMO

• Baseport of Nasipit: MV Lite Ferry 11 Nasipit to Jagna (cancelled due to steering problem) /dp
