Red rainfall warning up in Bataan, other Luzon areas

MANILA, Philippines — Bataan and other areas in Luzon were placed under a red rainfall warning late Wednesday morning as the southwest monsoon or habagat continued to bring heavy rains.

In its 11 a.m. update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), said severe flooding was expected in the following areas affected by the red rainfall warning and affected communities must take precautionary measures:
