Subic Freeport flooded, roads impassable to light vehicles
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Several areas inside the Subic Bay Freeport were flooded on Monday afternoon amid continuing rains, with some roads becoming impassable to light vehicles.
According to the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, as of 12:30 p.m., Dewey Street at Labitan and Maple, Waterfront at B-229, and Waterfront at Taft and Lincoln were not passable to light vehicles due to flooding.
Gutter-deep flooding was also recorded along Reymundo Street, Dewey Street/Manila/Espiritu St.; Waterfront/Manila Avenue; and Burgos Street/LADD.

The inbound lane of 1013 Road near Kalalake Bridge and Sentry 14 was also described as rough due to ongoing road construction.
Earlier Monday, SBMA announced the suspension of e-bus operations until further notice due to severe flooding in most areas within the Freeport.
The SBMA also shifted to a work-from-home arrangement for its employees starting at noon on Monday. Units providing emergency and disaster response services remained on standby.
