In a statement, the PPMC said the family had initially chosen to keep this matter private while working with authorities, hoping for his safe return.

“We strongly support the conduct of a thorough investigation of the case, and for its immediate resolution by the proper authorities, we earnestly request the public to immediately report to the place any information that could help in the ongoing search operations,” the PPMC said.

Badua said the search for the executive and investigation were still ongoing, with police creating a dedicated Special Investigation Task Group Oller.

“Police authorities are conducting continuous search, verification and information gathering (through interviews with the family members, relatives, (his) coworkers and friends) and possible witnesses,” he said.

The police have also requested closed-circuit television footage from several establishments to track the missing executive’s movements.

“The Regional Anti Crime Unit I is enhancing the CCTV footage, which are blurred, and we have directed all adjacent police stations to assist in locating (him),” Badua told the Inquirer.

Oller is a resident of Poblacion, Tubao, La Union, where he served as councilor from 2001 to 2010 and again from 2013 to 2019.
