MANILA, Philippines—An ambulance driver and his two passengers were killed after their vehicle figured in an accident with a passenger bus in Bicol Wednesday afternoon, police said Thursday.
Superintendent Renato Bataller, Bicol police spokesman, said Benjie Guarie was driving an ambulance (SKP 945) along with two other passengers on their way back to a rural health unit in Judan from Legazpi City when it collided with a Elavil bus (TXX 476, body number 7628) driven by Noel Pacala which was, on the other hand, on its way to Sitio Tublijon, Barangay (village) Rizal in Sorsogon City, around 3:45 p.m.
Guarie and his two passengers, identified as Sara Jane Enano and Mary Jane Ladimo, were killed from the accident, while no one was hurt from the bus, he said.
