LIST: Canceled trips on Wednesday due to Super Typhoon Inday

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) released the list of canceled ferry trips on Wednesday, July 8, due to the effects of enhanced southwest monsoon, or habagat, and Super Typhoon Inday.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the PPA listed the following Port Management offices with canceled trips:
Batangas
- 2Go Vessel: Odiongan to Caticlan (8 a.m.)
- 2Go Vessel: Odiongan to Batangas (7 p.m.)
Bohol
- Super Shuttle ferry: Jagna, Bohol to Balbagon, Camiguin, vice versa
Eastern Leyte/Samar
- TMO San Ricardo: San Isidro Shipping Lines
- TMO San Ricardo: Montenegro Shipping Lines
- TMO Calbayog: VS Grand Ferries, Calbayog to Cebu via Naval, vice versa
Masbate
- Kho Shipping Lines, Inc.: Aroroy, Masbate to San Andres, Quezon

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported in a weather advisory issued at 11 am that strong to gale-force winds are affecting the eastern seaboards of Northern and Central Luzon, as well as the eastern seaboard of Visayas.
Pagasa advised mariners on the affected areas to take appropriate measures to ensure safety amid the forecast conditions.
The Philippine Coast Guard said on Tuesday, July 7, that it has placed coast districts, stations, and sub-stations under heightened alert to ensure readiness and immediate response for the possible impact of Inday. /das
