2 killed in Edsa bus, FX, SUV collision early Sunday

MANILA, Philippines—Two were killed in a vehicular accident that involved a provincial bus, FX van and a sports-utility-vehicle (SUV) on Edsa corner Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City before 7 a.m. Sunday, said a report from Radyo Inquirer 990AM.

The unidentified passenger and driver of the FX van with the plate number UPB-789 were unconscious when they were pulled out by authorities from the vehicle.
The two were brought immediately to the Mandaluyong City Medical Center but were declared dead on arrival.

One of the victims’ ID card revealed he’s a military man.

The driver of the bus, which was bound to Bataan province, survived the accident.
