BP batters face PH team today

AN exciting exhibition game between a squad composed of all stars from the Baseball Philippines and the national team will highlight today’s festivities in the Pepsi Fil-Am Friendship Day festivities at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.

The top players of Baseball Philippines go up against the national squad at 11:30 a.m. in an All-Star game that will be witnessed by no less than US Ambassador to the Philippines Harry K. Thomas.

Lorenzo Ubungen, Ram Casey Alipio and Joennard Pareja of the Cebu Dolphins head the Baseball Phils. team that includes Amber Plaza, Mike Gante and Jezreel Rosita of the Dumaguete Uni-bikers and Jarus Inobio, Mark Ong and Emerson Atilano of the Manila Sharks.   /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
