Man jumps overboard after seeing brother’s killer on ship—coast guard

MANILA, Philippines – A 33-year-old man jumped off a ship leaving Matnog, Sorosogon after he supposedly saw the man who killed his brother, the Philippine Coast Guard said Saturday.

The PCG said Estrada Elacion of Giporlos, Eastern Samar was rescued after he jumped off the MV Don Herculano and into the bay waters as the ship was leaving Matnog pier on Friday afternoon.

“Investigation … revealed that the victim … [by chance] saw the alleged person who killed his brother in Manila amongst the passengers in the said vessel,” the PCG said in a statement.
