RUN FOR A CAUSE
RUNNING and dancing enthusiasts in Negros Oriental are invited to join the “Barya Para Sa Kalikasan” fun run and fun dance spearheaded by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Dumaguete branch.
The event on July 7 at 5 a.m. is a fund-raising project promoting BSP’s local environmental programs and its national coin recirculation and clean note policy program.
Divina Salve of the BSP local branch said the first 350 registrants will receive a gift item from BSP.
The event will kick off with a public viewing of BSP’s audio-visual presentations and infomercials, and a briefing on the “Barya Para Sa Kalikasan” activity. It will be followed by a 1.5-km run starting from the Freedom Park to the Perdices Coliseum Oval grounds where the fun dance will be held.
ORGANIC FOOD ENCOUNTER SET
THE Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), in partnership with Germany’s AFOS Foundation and GFH, the Association of Negros Producers and the Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will hold a Natural and Organic Food Market Encounter on July 11 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cebu City Marriott Hotel in Ayala Center Cebu.
The activity is in accordance with the chamber’s flagship program dubbed as OURFood, which stands for “Optimizing and Upscaling Roles in the Food supply and value chain”.
It will present OURFood’s response to the need of the food service and processing sector for trained entry-level workers, a project conceptualized jointly by CCCI, the University of San Carlos, the Department of Science and Technology in Central Visayas and AFOS Foundation.

FREE INNER DANCE, MEDITATION
THE Shanti Shala Body Mind Well-Being Inc. Cebu will present an inner dance, meditation featuring aura transformation.
Dubbed as “Still the monkey in your head,” the event will be held tomorrow, July 7 at 6 p.m. at the AMWSLAI building on Salinas Drive, Lahug, Cebu City (across Metrobank).
Aura Transformation helps parents to be more attuned with their children. It will also help update and empower persons energy and make them independent from collective consciousness.
