MANILA, Philippines — It will be a warm and humid Thursday in most of the country as the southwest monsoon or “habagat” weakens, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

Cloudy skies and scattered rain showers, however, are expected in Ilocos Norte, Batanes and the Babuyan Islands, Pagasa weather specialist Leanne Loreto said.

“Other parts of our country, including Metro Manila, will be partly cloudy to cloudy. So expect warm and humid conditions today,” she said in Filipino.
