THE Cebu Vendors Credit Cooperative (CVCCO) and Palms World Travel and Tours crushed separate foes at the start of the Guadalupe Athletics Association (GAA)-2012 Inter-Sitio Open basketball tournament at the Guadalupe Sports Complex.
CVCCO rallied from singe-digit deficits in the first two periods and routed AS-ES, 78-64 with Andy Miñoza and Thens Dinampo scoring 18 and 13 points, respectively.
Abe Galinato and Russel Gilig paced AS-ES with 11 and 10 points.
In the other game, Palms World Travel and Tours hammered Evan Aulga Hardware, 88-67.
Palms World jumped to an impressive, 28-10 run in the opening period then padded its advantage to 20 points or more the rest of the way.
Greg Bamba and Arvin Plandin led Palms World with 18 and 16 points, respectively while Nono Gabucan paced Evan Aulga with 16 markers.
