4 PNP senior officers given new posts
MANILA, Philippines — Four senior police officials were given new assignments in the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) latest reshuffle.
The designation was done through General Order No. NHQ-GO-DES-2026-2872 dated May 29 and effective June 1.
The order appointed current Eastern Police District (EPD) director Brig. Gen. Aden Lagradante as the officer-in-charge of the Civil Security Group (CSG), the unit of the PNP that enforces regulations over firearms and private security services.

Lagradante replaced CSG director Brig. Gen. Ross Alvarado, whose current designation was not immediately disclosed by either the order or the PNP.
Meanwhile, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) deputy director for operations Brig. Gen. Melecio Buslig Jr. replaced Lagradante as EPD officer-in-charge.
NCRPO regional staff chief Brig. Gen. Rodel Pastor was assigned to take Buslig’s place as the officer-in-charge of the NCRPO deputy director for operations.
Further, Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group deputy director Col. Martin Gumba was designated the officer-in-charge of the NCRPO regional staff chief. /mr
