THE Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) in Central Visayas will hold its regional assembly on July 27 and 28 at the Hotel Fortuna on Borromeo Street, Cebu City.
The assembly will feature speeches, bench marking activities, business meeting and a campus tour in line with this year’s theme “CEAP Region VII: Responding to the Educational Innovations for the 21st Century.”
Attending the assembly are Rev. Fr. Eduardo Ventic, CM, superintendent of Catholic Schools; Dr. Carmelita Dulangon, OIC, DepEd-7; Rev. Fr. Gregg Bañaga, CM, CEAP president; lawyer Gloria Tango, DOLE Region 7 Director; Dr. Amelia Biglete, CHEd Region 7 Director; Rose Urdaneta, Tesda Region 7 Director; Rhodora Angela Ferrer, CEAP executive director; and Rev. Fr. Enrico Peter Silab, OAR, CEAP Region 7 Director.
The two-day activity will tackle topics, such as the implication on salaries/benefits of the faculty in relation to the K to 12 program; benchmarking school curricula, educational policies and standards for better K to 12 operation; and the challenges of the re-engineering and restructuring educational machinery: Readiness for K to 12 implementation.
Registration is ongoing. Registration fees range from P3,500 to P2,000. Those who register on or before July 10 will get a discount of P200. Payments may be deposited to the CEAP Region 7 account at the Bank of the Philippine Islands D. Jakosalem branch with account number 009271-0012-55.
