Toll cards out soon

BEGINNING July 16, motorists entering the Skyway System at-grade section through the new Nichols Entry Plaza and C5 Entry Plaza and the South Luzon Expressway Calamba Entry Plaza must get a Toll Entry Card from an entry teller which must be surrendered upon exit after paying the fee. Those without a card will be charged equivalent to the farthest entry, plus a penalty fee of P150.

Motorists with valid E-Pass tags that have sufficient “load” and are readable by the system are not required to get a card. The issuance of toll entry cards in all toll plazas, including Nichols, C5 and Calamba, is in compliance with the guidelines of the Toll Regulatory Board for inter-operability among SLEx and the Skyway System managed and operated by Manila Toll Expressway Systems Inc. and Skyway O&M Corp.

Gate-arm barriers will also be activated at all entry lanes of every entry plaza. Motorists are strictly advised to avoid tailgaiting which can result in hitting and damaging the gate-arm barrier.
