NAGA CITY — Mayor Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo is positioning Naga City as a national gateway for innovation, technology, and industry collaboration through the 10th ClickConEx 2026, which will gather key leaders from government, business, and the innovation sector this June.

Scheduled for June 19–21, 2026, at the Heart for Good Governance, ClickConEx will serve as a high-level business-government partnership platform connecting technology firms, corporations, startups, investors, development organizations, academic institutions, and public sector leaders working toward concrete governance outcomes.

More than 500 delegates from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are expected to attend, including:

  • Local chief executives and mayors
  • National government agency officials
  • Cabinet secretaries and policymakers
  • CEOs and business leaders
  • Technology companies and ICT executives
  • Startup founders and investors
  • Academic institutions and researchers
  • Development organizations and innovation enablers

Convention sessions will be anchored on Naga City’s 2028 Finish Lines, an eight-point governance agenda focused on building a thriving and inclusive economy, cleaner and flood-resilient communities, safer public spaces, improved healthcare and education systems, cultural preservation, open governance, and a more agile and citizen-focused local government.

Mayor Robredo, who assumed office in June 2025 as Naga City’s first female mayor, said technology must serve as an accelerator for better governance and improved public services.

“Real progress happens when policymakers, the private sector, and academe come together to develop solutions for our people,” Robredo said.

The three-day convention is among the Robredo administration’s early flagship initiatives under the 2028 Finish Lines framework, positioning Naga City as an emerging national hub for innovation-driven governance and cross-sector partnerships.

Naga City’s emergence as a national benchmark for ICT-driven governance has drawn international recognition. In March 2026, Robredo was an invited speaker at the Yushan Forum and the Smart Cities Summit and Expo in Taipei, where Naga City and its flagship MyNaga App were showcased to a global audience.

Robredo said she hopes the governance innovations being pioneered in Naga will serve as models that other local governments across the Philippines can adopt.
