MANILA, Philippines—Motorists are advised to take alternate routes as several areas in Metro Manila were flooded due to incessant rains since past midnight Tuesday, a Metropolitan Manila Development Authority-Flood Control unit official said.

MMDA-Flood Control unit official Eddie Garcia (no relation to the actor) said a gutter-level flood at 20 centimeter-high was monitored along Quezon Boulevard underpass near Isetann-Recto since 8:00 a.m.
