OIL PRICE WATCH as of May 4, 2026

MANILA, Philippines – Local oil prices are expected to increase again starting May 5, with diesel likely to hike between P0.40 and P0.70 per liter and gasoline by about P1.30 to P1.70 per liter.

The projected adjustments follow movements in global oil markets during the past trading week.

The anticipated hike comes after several weeks of mixed adjustments, where gasoline prices had increased while diesel and kerosene saw series of rollback.
