Marcos pens sweet wedding anniversary message to First Lady

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., on the early morning of Friday, penned a sweet wedding anniversary message for First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, whom he described as his “constant.”
The First Couple celebrates their 33rd wedding anniversary on April 17.
“Through every season, in family, in work, and in everything in between, we have walked it together,” the president said in a social media post, along with a collage of their photos.
“You have been my constant. Steady, wise, and always looking after our family, while never losing sight of others,” Marcos also said.
He further said, “Happy anniversary, Liza. Thank you for the life we have built together. “
The First Lady also greeted the president on their anniversary.
“Built a life, raised a family, and kept the love alive … 33 years strong! ” she said in a separate post.
According to the president’s website, Marcos and Liza tied the knot on April 17, 1993, at the San Francesco Convent in Fiesole, Italy.
They have three sons: Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative Sandro Marcos, Joseph Simon, and William Vincent “Vinny.” /cb
