MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has released the approved routes covered by the land-based service contracting program.

Beginning Wednesday, the government will provide traditional jeepneys with P30 per kilometer, modern jeepneys with P40 per kilometer, and buses with P100 per kilometer.

The LTFRB said the number of trips covered by the payout is as follows: six trips per day for Edsa Carousel buses; and up to 100 kilometers per day for buses, UV Express units, and jeepneys.

The program covers 545 routes in Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, and 823 routes nationwide.

“Only these routes are included in the implementation of the program, so operators and drivers are encouraged to check whether they are part of the approved routes,” the LTFRB said in an advisory.

The list of routes provided by the Central Office within the National Capital Region can be accessed here, while the ones provided by the Regional Franchising and Regulatory Office outside Metro Manila can be accessed here.
