Final leg of Cong. Red Tri series starts

/ 06:56 AM July 01, 2012

TRIATHLETES gather in Danao City for the 3rd and final leg of the Cong. Red Tri Series, which will return to the Sands Beach Resort today and not at the Alegre Beach Resort as earlier reported.

A SuperTriKids competition will once again be held as a sidelight event after last weekend’s STK gathered a surprising number of 22 entries.

Organizer Oscar “Boying” Rodriguez said that more kids are expected to take part in the race in preparation for the Alaska IronKids slated Aug. 4 at the Shangri-La Mactan Resort and Spa.  The race is to usher the Cobra Energy Drink Ironman 70.3 Philippines slated on Aug. 5 at the same venue.
