All is set for the “Who Are You? Unleash the Unstoppable” fight card tonight at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex.
This as fighters made their respective catch weights during the official weigh in at the AA Barbecue and Grill in Banilad.
James “Spider” Serenio of SOMA kick boxing club will fight in a mixed martial arts (MMA) bout against Kumjyokai Aikijutsu’s Jafet Flores in the main event.
Serenio tipped the scales at 121 lbs while Flores weighed 119 and 3/4 lbs for their 121-lbs catch weight.
“I am ready,” said Serenio, who is out to protect his 5-0 (win-loss) record against Flores (2-3). “I have been waiting for this bout and I will do my best to win.”
Meanwhile, Cebu Top Yawyan Ardigma’s ace fighter Geronimo “Dare Devil” Etac will have a new opponent in Arnel Ylanan.
A last-minute swap was made after a miscommunication between Leo Rodrigo’s trainer and the organizer.
Rodrigo was supposed to face Etac. Instead, Renante Noblefranca will face Rodrigo in the 119-lb division while Etac faces Ylanan in the 139-lb division.
The fight card, which features several other exciting bouts, kicks off at 7 p.m. Tickets are priced at P100 for general admission, P150 for lower box, P300 for ringside and P500 for VIP seats.
