MOTOSUIT TO HOLD MEDICAL-DENTAL MISSION
MS Motosuit will take time out in the race track and will conduct a medical and dental mission tomorrow, June 30 in barangay Calambua, San Remegio, Cebu.
The activity is spearheaded by MS Motosuit race boss Lou Ornopia, who is also a barangay captain of Calambua, together with barangay Apas, its sister barangay in Cebu City.
“After sponsoring the Ornopia cup last April here in our barangay, I think it’s about time to give back to the people of Calambua the services, partnering with barangay Apas. We will be conducting medical mission, free legal services, giving out of reading glasses,“ Ornopia said.
The MS Motosuit series organized by Ornopia has already initiated six motocross legs from January to May of this year.
“Our plan is to initiate four more legs this year, totaling to 10 legs for MS Motosuit motocross for the year 2012” Ornopia said.
He said the medical mission was conceptualized after the memorandum of agreement signing on Nov. 28, 2011 at the Teatro Casino Waterfront Hotel between the two barangays.
Both barangays agreed to share their expertise and ideas.
Barangay Apas will bring along its officials of Federation of Baranay Apas Residents Association Incorporated (FBARAI) to assist in the medical and legal consultation and giving out of reading glasses.
Dr. Felipe Montejo will lead the dental mission. Also supporting the activity are Dr. Edgar Espinosa, 4th district Rep. Benhur Salimbangon, Provincial Board Members Sun Shimura and Joven Mondigo Jr. , San Remegio Mayor Jay Olivar, Mariano dela Peña and its council, Barangay Apas council, barangay Calambua council.
