Several mall operators announced that they will shorten their hours of operation in response to the government’s declaration of a national energy emergency.
Among them are SM Supermalls, Robinsons Malls and Ayala Malls.
The move comes as authorities push for energy conservation measures amid uncertainties in fuel supply linked to tensions in the Middle East, as President Bongbong Marcos on Tuesday declared a state of national energy emergency.
