The MMDA said it will deploy 2,476 personnel across major roads, transport terminals, and other areas in Metro Manila to ensure public safety and convenience during Holy Week. It added that skeletal deployment will focus on traditional Visita Iglesia routes, including the Panata route to Antipolo City.
The agency will also preposition 12 tow trucks and five ambulances daily in key strategic areas.
“We will enforce a no-day-off and no-absent policy for all traffic and field personnel when heavy traffic is expected due to the Holy Week exodus,” Torre said. /mcm
