MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Health is ready to assist residents in areas that are going to be affected by Tropical Storm “Dindo,” a report by Erwin Aguilon for Radyo Inquirer said early Thursday.

In the report, Dr. Carmencita Banatin, head of health emergency and management system of DoH, said since “Dindo” entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility, they have already raised the Code White Alert in government hospitals and their DoH offices in the affected areas.

She said it’s “all-systems go” in the places affected by the storm, especially in Northern Luzon.

Code White Alert means extreme readiness and there are 24-hour monitoring in their operation centers.
