CEC BATCH ‘72 REUNION

THE Cebu Eastern College (CEC) high school batch 1972 will hold grand reunion July 15 at the City Sports Club in Ayala Center Cebu.

Prior to the main event, the batch will hold a “balik CEC” tour and a short forum on career guidance for the graduating class of 2012 on July 13 and a get-together party at the AMISA Mactan condominium function room.

Activities also include teachers’ recognition, video, singing and dancing presentations and games.

THE SHANTI SHALA YOGA Cebu (Body Mind Well-Being Inc.) will present a free yoga event dubbed “Greet the Sun” on Saturday, June 30, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, on the fifth floor of AMWSLAI building on Salinas Drive, Lahug, Cebu City (across Metrobank).

The event will feature a 2-hour sun salutation series guided by the Shanti Shala Yoga teachers; performances from well-established students and teachers; short video presentation of yoga; special presentations by guest performers, such as poi dance and belly dance by Giselle Tribaco-Halleux and yoga dance by Jai and introduction of well-being clinic modalities.

This will be the kick-off for Shanti Shala in its holistic approach to health and wellness. Students, practitioners and guests will enjoy a whole lot of sampling from each of the modalities the studio will offer.
