2 killed in QC vehicular accident
MANILA, Philippines—Two people were killed after the vehicle they were riding rammed the parking wall of a bank in Quezon City before dawn Wednesday, police said.
Senior Police Officer 2 Jon Cuaresma of Quezon City traffic sector 1 said a Honda Civic (TER 520) driven by Michael Angelo Sy suddenly rammed and damaged the wall of the Bank of the Philippine Island’s parking lot located along Barangay (village) West Triangle, Quezon City around 3 a.m.
“According sa security guard, bigla na lang daw tumama sa pader itong sasakyan,” Cuaresma said, adding that the vehicle was severely damaged.
Sy died on the spot, as well as his still unidentified passenger who is estimated to be around 25 to 30 years old with a height of 5’6”.
He said investigators have yet to determine the cause of accident, as well as the identification of the other victim.
