Man shot dead in Lapu

A GUNMAN shot dead a 38-year-old man in front of his wife in barangay Babag, Lapu-Lapu City on Sunday night.

Perfecto Limos of Villa del Rio subdivision, was talking with his wife outside their store when a man  suddenly appeared and shot Limos twice in the head with a .45 caliber pistol.

The unidentified assailant fled after the attack.

Limos’ wife, who was still in shock, told police that she didn’t see the face of the assailant because she covered her face when the shots were fired.

Police were looking into personal grudge as the possible motive of the shooting. /CORRESPONDENT NORMAN
