THE CHIONGBIAN siblings are making their presence felt in the triathlon scene as they finished in the top 3 of their respective categories in yesterday’s 2nd leg of the Congressman Red Tri Series held in Danao City, Cebu.

Having the most notable finish among the Chiongbians yesterday was 14-year-old Justin, who finished third overall in the sprint distance with a time of 53 minutes and 10 seconds.

Justin of the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu opted to compete in the sprint distance rather than the half sprint for the SuperTriKids (STK) contest. He also clinched the 16 & below title. With this progress, Justin will be one of the competitors to look out for in the upcoming IronKids slated Aug. 4.
