Circulating Marcos test results ‘fake, falsified’–St. Luke’s
MANILA, Philippines — St. Luke’s Medical Center on Wednesday denied the accuracy and authenticity of medical test results circulating online that bear the hospital’s logo and are being linked to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
In a statement, the hospital said it is “aware of medical test results falsely circulating online and on social media claiming to pertain to President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, Jr.” It added: “These documents are FAKE and FALSIFIED.”

The denial came after the Presidential Communications Office on Wednesday warned the public about a fake medical report being attributed to the president online following his bout with diverticulitis.

On Monday, the Palace said the president was back to his usual routine.
St. Luke’s also reminded the public that sharing medical information online other than one’s own breaches data privacy and violates hospital policies and existing laws.
“Sharing unverified and unofficial information, particularly alleged medical results, may contribute to the spread of false information and may expose individuals to legal consequences,” the hospital said.
St. Luke’s reiterated that it releases medical results only to patients themselves and only through its official channels. /das/dm
