NLex traffic flow eases a day after Christmas

MANILA, Philippines—A day after Christmas, light traffic is observed on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx), according to the NLEx Corporation.

As of 8 a.m. Friday, NLEx Corporation reported that the traffic flow has lightened over the following sections:

  • Balintawak Toll Plaza
  • Mindanao Toll Plaza
  • Bocaue Toll Plaza
  • San Fernando Northbound  
  • San Fernando Southbound

The light volume of vehicles was also monitored in all other areas of NLEx–SCTEx (Subic–Clark–Tarlac Expressway)–NLEx Connector.

Meanwhile, approximately 3.7 kilometers of traffic buildup was reported in the Candaba Viaduct Northbound following a road crash on the leftmost lane (lane 1) at around 7:35 a.m.

NLEx Corporation said its patrol team responded to the incident and cleared the site. /apl/abc
