‘Additional suspension: Dec. 29, Jan. 2’

The Office of the President recently issued Memorandum Circular No. 111, suspending all government work on Dec. 29 and Jan. 2 “to give employees enough time to celebrate the New Year.”

The MMDA likewise noted in its updated advisory that the number coding scheme will also be lifted on December 29, and January 2.

The additional days of suspension are in accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 111 of the Office of the President, which cancels all government work on the aforementioned dates “to give employees enough time to celebrate the New Year.”

“Number coding is automatically suspended during official and special non-working holidays,” the agency said.
