MANILA, Philippines–Four roads in the Cordillera Administrative Region were impassable on Tuesday morning due to landslides triggered by rains brought by Typhoon “Butchoy,” according to the Department of Public Works and Highways.
In a statement, the DPWH said Kennon Road in Benguet; the Abra-Kalinga Road in Abra; the Kalinga-Abra Road in Kalinga; and the Mountain Province-Ilocos Sur Road via Tue-Calabacan Section in Mountain Province were either closed or partially closed to vehicular traffic due to the landslides.
