DSWD seeks kin of ‘Inday Buntis,’ baby boy Wagas

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development in Central Visayas (DSWD-7) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the parents and relatives of a mother.

The mother, who is only known as “Inday Buntis,” gave birth to a baby boy last Jan. 29 at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) in Cebu City.

The DSWD said the baby still cannot be registered with the civil registrar due to unavailability of data as his mother refuses to speak.

Meanwhile, the DSWD-7 is also seeking the parents and relatives of baby boy Wagas.

Wagas was left by his mother Mylnee Wagas, 26 years old of Calamba, V. Rama, Cebu City after giving birth last April 27 at the VSMMC.

The DSWD-7 is requesting the parents, relatives or friends of Inday Buntis and baby boy Wagas to see social worker Annalisa Gubalane at their office on M.J. Cuenco Avenue, Cebu City or contact her at 416-7646.

Failure of the parties to appear will subject the child for abandonment.
