As part of the week-long celebration for “Araw ng Maynila” on June 24, the city government has lined up an activity this week which is guaranteed to leave residents in stitches.
The Manila Sports Council (Masco) has organized the city’s first “Manila Laughter Yoga” session on Wednesday, to be followed by another one on Thursday.
Both will be held at 4 p.m. at the Bonifacio Shrine, beside city hall, with laughter yoga guru Paolo Martin Trinidad, who founded Laughter Yoga Pilipinas in 2010, as the instructor.
Masco chair Paul Edward Almario described laughter yoga as an aerobic workout which is done while laughing, thus helping relieve stress.
