MANILA, Philippines—Tropical Storm “Butchoy” maintains its strength going northwest as a new storm is felt over the West Philippine Sea, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said early Sunday on Radyo Inquirer.
As of 4 a.m., “Butchoy” is 450 k.m. northeast of Virac, Caranduanes, with maximum sustained winds of 160 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 195 kph. It is moving North Northwest at 20 kph, said Pagasa.
