ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – Two kidnapping witnesses under the government’s protection program were seriously wounded when a security guard assigned to their safehouse in the Tetuan district here shot them early Tuesday, the police said.
Acting city police director Senior Superintendent Edwin de Ocampo said the police could not provide more details about the shooting as they were still investigating the incident
De Ocampo said the two victims were in critical condition.
