MANILA, Philippines – Dante Jimenez, founder of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption, on Wednesday explained the group’s nomination of Justice Leila De Lima for the Chief Justice post.
Jimenez told Radyo Inquirer 990AM in an interview that De Lima possesses qualities required of the position of Supreme Court leader, namely confidence, diligence, competence and independence.
The VACC founder believes De Lima has the will to cleanse the judicial system and promote independence of the institution.
